David’s passion for outdoor adventures began while at school, including completing Ten Tors and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. After leaving school, David pursued a career in HM Forces where he continued to explore this passion, including trekking adventures in the Canadian Rockies, German / Austrian Alps, Central Africa and as far south as the Falkland Islands. Since leaving HM Forces, David is now a RYA Dinghy Instructor and a RYA Windsurfing Instructor as well as holding the MLS qualification.
David has been heavily involved with younger adventurers through his involvement with the Army Cadet Force – 24 years and continuing, and is keen to encourage and help these adventurers and others to push their own personal boundaries.
For the past 12 years David has been coordinating and planning expeditions for over 10,000 trekkers in Central East Africa (including Mount Stanley, Mount Kenya, Mount Meru, Mount Kilimanjaro) and the Himalayas (including Everest Base Camp and Annapurna).
Davids enthusiasm for the outdoors is infectious and he is keen to share this enthusiasm with adventurers of all ages and abilities.
